Shrimp Boil


THE INGREDIENTS

  • 16 large shrimp
  • 1 cup bell peppers
  • 2 cups turkey sausage (or beef but turkey is more figure friendly)
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 12 small potatoes (any kind..I like using sweet potatoes)
  • corn or peas as much or as little to your liking
  • 6 plum tomatoes
  • 8 bunches of Kale (or spinach) stems removed
  • 2 tsp. old bay
  • 2 Quarts water
  • 2 tablespoons grapeseed oil.
  • black pepper to taste
  • Mushrooms


DIRECTIONS

  1. 1. Place large pot on stove and heat to medium high heat add grape seed oil.
  2. 2. Add Shrimp and cool on each side for 1 to two minute, depending on size
  3. 3. Remove shrimp and add onion, garlic, peppers, mushrooms Lower heat and saute for 3-5 min. Add sausage and cook for three TO five min
  4. 4. add water, Potatoes and tomatoes and bring to boil. Lower heat and simmer 10-15 min until potatoes are tender
  5. 5. Add Kale and Corn
  6. 6. Season and serve
  7. ENJOY.
