Grandmother Cheeseburger soup


The ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 med onion, dived
  • 1 celery stalk, diced
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 14oz can diced tomatoes
  • 5 beef bouillon cubes
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teas Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • ½ teas garlic salt
  • ¼ teas freshly ground black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ cup frozen corn
  • Shredded cheddar cheese for topping
  • Orzo(cook, drain and throw in slow cooker in the end)


Directions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and drain.
  2. Combine the ground beef with the next 10 ingredients in a slow cooker. Cob on low for 5 to 6 hrs. 
  3. Cook orzo past and place in soup for 10 minutes before serving. Top with cheddar cheese.
