Janet's Rich Banana Bread


The ingredients ; 

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  •     1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  •     1 cup white sugar
  •     1 teaspoon baking soda
  •     2 eggs
  •     1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  •     1/2 teaspoon salt
  •     1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  •     1/2 cup sour cream
  •     2 medium bananas, sliced


Directions: 




  1.      Firstly,  Preheat oven to  (175 degrees C) 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2.     After that,  In a large bowl, stir together the melted butter and sugar. Then be sure to Add the eggs and vanilla, mix well. 
  3.     Combine the flour, baking soda and salt, stir into the butter mixture until smooth. Finally, fold in walnuts and bananas and  the sour cream. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
  4.     Bake   for 60 minutes at  (175 degrees C) 350 degrees F, or until a toothpick entered into the center of the loaf comes out clean. 
  5.    Finally, Cool loaf in the pan for ten mins before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
